How the promotion works

1. Buy a new Thinkcar diagnostic tool from Thinkcar UK / authorised seller
2. Activate your Thinkcar tool
3. Complete the Trade-In Form (download below)
4. Send us your trade-in tool within 14 days of activation
5. Once approved, we add +12 months extra software updates to your subscription
   
   
   

​We understand you may be able to achieve a higher return by selling your tool privately. However, private sales can be a minefield — time-consuming, uncertain, and often involve risks around payment, returns, and disputes. Our part-exchange offer is designed to be simple, secure, and hassle-free.

​Offer available on the purchase of a new Thinkcar professional diagnostic tool
• Part exchange applies to professional-grade diagnostic tools only, with an original retail value of £800 + VAT or more
• Trade-in tool must have been commercially available for purchase within the last 8 years
• Trade-in tool must be in working condition
• Trade-in tool must be returned with a completed trade-in form within 14 days of the Thinkcar tool being activated
• Upon successful validation of the trade-in, the customer will receive an additional 12 months of software updates
• Failure to return the trade-in tool within 14 days may result in the extra subscription being withdrawn or charged
• Offer is available until 31st March or while stocks last
• Offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion
• Thinkcar UK reserves the right to refuse any trade-in that does not meet the above criteria and to amend or withdraw the offer at any time
