Repair shops and automotive technicians can use X5 to make video calls or send voice/ text to online technicians, online technicians can use THINKCAR or other brand tools to diagnostics customer vehicles remotely.

How does a remote programming service work?

Starting a session is very easy. Users simply click on the on-screen remote icon and select their desired Thinkcar Remote technician.
 
Direct messages can be sent to the Thinkcar Remote technician to provide details about the job requirement. A job fee will be arranged, and then work can begin – the Thinkcar Remote Technician will then program or diagnose your vehicle remotely from its various UK-based locations, all whilst the technician gets on with another job.
 
The tool should be hardwired to the internet, and a battery support unit set up whilst the job is underway. The Thinkcar Remote Technician will notify the garage once work is completed, with a repair report.
